With over 20 years of experience behind the lens, Debbie Hudson and Barbara Stone are now making their debut into the professional art world and placing their visual treats on display.  HudStone Images capture the artists' love for patterns, colors, textures and intriguing juxtapositions -- transforming the ordinary into unusual and abstract imagery. In addition to landscapes, flowers, or animals, they can often be found shooting under bridges, in parking lots, industrial sites, or business parks.

What Barbara says about Debbie: "She has such an amazing eye and has mastered the camera. Her shots are bold and unusual. After shooting, I love to experience the day, a second time, through her eyes. It gives me a much better understanding of who she is, and allows me to see things differently."

What Debbie says about Barbara: "The slightest movement or the smallest object will catch her eye, then her imagination goes into action. I never know what to expect when we go shooting. I love her sense of fun and adventure."

Camera Info: We shoot with high-end "pro-sumer" digital cameras -- currently a Nikon Coolpix 8800 and a Nikon Coolpix 8700. Following in the footsteps of such greats as Ansel Adams and Imogen Cunningham, we fine-tune our images - except that our "darkroom" is contained in our computer. Occasionally we employ the use of special effects or image manipulation (for instance: the image entitled "Predator" is actually a shot of reflected leaves onto a pond at a local Japanese Garden. We took only the reflected part of the images and mirrored it next to itself to produce the look of a warrior. No other modification was necessary).
